Allureglow USA SB Series Solvent Based Glow in the Dark Screen Printing Inks

This Allureglow USA SB-2045 Glow in the Dark Screen Ink is a Solvent Based Glow in the Dark Screen Printing Ink. The SB-2045 is manufactured using the Allureglow USA Photoluminescent/Glow inthe Dark Pigments and Colorants in a Air Dry Type Ink.
Allureglow SB-2045 Glow in the Dark Inks enable the screen printer to print on a variety of substrates including: Treated Polyethylene, Treated Polypropylene, Coated Wood, Coated Metal, Vinyl, Nylon, Leather, PVC, Tyvek and many more Flexible Substrates.
 

Directions and Helpful Information:

The Allureglow USA SB-2045 Glow in the Dark Inks are Single Component Ready to Use Ink, just mix it up and it is ready to Print.

Mixing should be done with a high speed drill or drill press using a Type 2 Dispersion Blade. Continue to mix Ink occasionally throughout production run.
If Ink is to thin for larger opening screens, the use of Allureglow USA LTS-1959 Thickner at a rate of 1/2% by Weight of Ink, Mix Throughly and Allow the Ink to Sit for 2-4 Hours Prior to Using.

Keep lids on containers to avoid contamination of the Ink
YOU MUST USE A WHITE UNDERBASE OR PRINT ON ALL SUBSTRATE COLORS OTHER THAN WHITE. YOU WILL GREATLY REDUCE THE GLOW INTENSITY BY NOT DOING THIS STEP.

For Best Results A Moderate Flood and Low to Moderate Squeegee Pressure on Automatic or Manual Presses. A Print/Flash/Print Method will achieve the best results
Allureglow USA SB-2045 can be printed using 86-180 Mesh Screens depending on the color and amount of glow you are trying to achieve.

The SB-2045 Inks will air dry in 10 to 20 minutes at normal room temperature. Force drying in seconds at 90°to 150°F (32°to 66°C). To prevent the blocking of material after printing, it is paramount to ensure that the temperature of the drying is not excessive and the air flow surrounding the material is good. Material blocking may occur if sheets are stacked when warm. 

Always perform Adhesion Tests prior to production, to ensure proper adhesion to the Substrate, prior to production runs.

Clean-Up can be done using Eco Solvents, Solvents or Mineral Spirits

Testing and viewing can best be done in a dark room, after charging the print in sunlight for 15 minutes or under artificial light for 30 minutes. Always allow your eyes to adjust for a few minutes after entering the dark room.

Any application not referenced in this Technical Data should be pre-tested prior to any production run is done.
